Personalized Pet Care and Dog Walking

My 90 lb pup, Cassie, dashed out of our yard today, looking to take a quick run with a local jogger passing by. Despite being successfully fenced in with an invisible fence for the last 4 months, the urge to take a run surpassed the momentary zap of her collar... Needless to say, she traveled a few miles in just 10 minutes. Fortuitous as it turned out to be, Cassie was spotted by a well intended bystander, witnessing Cassie weaving in and out of traffic... staying close to her recently adopted jogger. The bystander was Shannon, clearly recognizing something was not right with the situation she was witnessing. She asked the jogger if the dog was his (no) and then managed to quickly collect Cassie to her side (her dogs were excellent bait!) and then she called me to see if I was looking for her! (I was driving all over the neighborhood trying to spot her.) Perhaps people research & select their dog walkers, but based on what I witnessed today, references just aren’t needed - Cassie picked her own dog walker all on her own and I second her vote! We are so grateful & impressed that Shannon had the insight & instinct to see that Cassie was not where she was supposed to be, and saved her from potentially getting lost, or worse, very hurt in traffic. We look forward to getting Cassie on to her walking routine in our area! She is our hero today!

Shannon is a life saver! Our cat had to have surgery shortly before we went away on a long trip. On short notice, Shannon agreed to help bring Ghirardelli to the vet for a follow up appt to have her staples out. Ghirardelli is an especially sneaky cat and hid herself well when it came time for the appt. Shannon handled the situation perfectly. She contacted the vet, who agreed to let her bring Ghirardelli in whenever she was able to get a hold of her, and Shannon kept coming back to our house until she was able to grab Ghirardelli a couple of days later. The whole time, she kept us updated on the situation, and was able to confirm with our next door neighbor that Ghirardelli was in fact still in the house. We are so grateful to Shannon for her heroic efforts to make sure Ghirardelli received the care she needed, and we would hire her again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

I can’t thank Shannon and her team enough for the love, care and FUN they give to Jackson each day. He went from a shy dog to an eager play friend after only a few weeks with the "crew." The option to board Jackson with Shannon (and Houligan) is a wonderful one for work travel and vacation - knowing that Jackson is safe and loved while I am gone is truly priceless. Thanks!!!

Shannon has taken care of my Hazel since she was 9 weeks old - she’s 3 yrs today! She’s been an amazing dog walker and found some other amazing dog people to join her efforts (Jackie, and now Jess) in looking after my crazy girl...it’s SO nice to come home to a happy, tired dog!

Dear Shannon and Jackie, We are so grateful to you for taking wonderful care of our Hugo and Zoe while we are at work. We always come home to find the pups happy and safe, and love hearing about the hikes you’ve been on by reading your thoughtful notes in the notebook. Even though Hugo can be a challenge sometimes, you have both been understanding and talented as you support him to be able to play well with other dogs. Thank you both so much for all that you do. We feel very lucky to have found such reliable, skilled caretakers for our dogs.

Shannon is amazing!!! I have an extremely grouchy cat who doesn’t get along with most people so I am always nervous about having someone watch him. Most people are easily scared off by him. Not Shannon!! She was undeterred by him and he took to her immediately. She really has the magic touch. I would recommend Shannon to anyone and everyone. You can rest assured your pets will not only have their basic needs met, but they will receive a lot of love and attention as well.

Shannon has been our wonderful dog walker for the past two years. Our lazy greyhound loves to go out for his walks with you (although sometimes it takes a few treats to get him off the couch). She is always responsive, friendly and has taken great care of our pup! Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your kindness, care and love for Piper...for almost 2 years now! I think she may be your #1 fan! I met Jackie the other day-she took Miss Pipe on a long walk with other furry friends. It made me so happy because earlier that day Piper just wasn’t in the mood for the dogs at the park on her morning walk with me...guess she was just saving her energy for her afternoon friends!
